The Classic Snowbird Beard Head has a detachable beard connected with four snaps, and a detachable/adjustable mustache that is connected with two small buttons. If the mustache isn't positioned correctly on top of your upper lip, you can easily pop it out and re-position it to fit correctly. The unique design of the Beard Head allows your entire face to remain warm, even in the harshest weather.

Shipping
1) How long will my order take to arrive?
We process orders Monday-Friday, so if you placed an order during the week, it will be processed, packed, and shipped within 24 hours. From there, how long it will take to get to you really depends on the post office (USPS). We ship out of Los Angeles, CA, so if you’re on the East Coast, you can expect it to take a couple days to arrive. If you’re on the West Coast, you should get your Beard Head in 1-2 days.
International shipping times vary greatly, depending on which country and how efficient the customs office is. You should expect at least 7-12 days for international orders, although we have had instances where it has taken even longer. However, Canada/Mexico often arrive within 3-5 days. European Union countries don’t often experience long delays either. Sometimes Eastern European, African, or Asian countries can experience delays related to customs or other factors beyond our control.
2) What if I place an order on the weekend?
If you place an order over the weekend, we will process, pack, and ship it on Monday.
3) Where is my tracking number?
You will receive an email from USPS with tracking information when your order has been processed by us (usually within 24 hours, unless on the weekend). Sometimes emails from USPS are caught in spam filters, so make sure to check your junk email box before asking us about it.
3) What is Route+ Shipping Protection?
On your shopping cart page before checkout, you will see the option to add Route+ Shipping Protection to your order for $0.98. By selecting this option, your package will be fully insured in cases where it may be lost in the mail, damaged, or stolen. You will also receive Route's advanced real-time tracking for your package delivered straight to your phone or inbox. You can visit Route's FAQ page for more details here. For only $0.98, it's a pretty great service for peace of mind!

Returns
1) What is your return policy?
If you are unsatisfied with your Beard Head in any way, we offer a money back return policy. Returns must be requested within thirty (30) days of receipt of the item. Returned items for a refund must be received at our warehouse within thirty (30) days of receipt of the item. To request a return, please visit our contact page. In the subject field, type "RETURN" and enter your order number in the comments field and the reason for your return. You will receive return instructions via e-mail, including a return shipping address.
Orders that are returned to warehouse and qualify for a refund will receive a product refund but not shipping refund. You are responsible for return shipping. Returns may also be done in-person at our Los Angeles warehouse location during regular business hours. We reserve the right to refuse the return of any items that have been worn or damaged.
2) What about your exchange policy?
We’re happy to exchange your Beard Head for a different one! To request an exchange, please visit our contact page. In the subject field, type "EXCHANGE" and enter your order number in the comments field and the reason for your exchange. You will receive return instructions via e-mail, including a return shipping address. You must arrange for return shipping, but we will pay to ship the exchanged product back out to you. 3) My Beard Head is broken/defective. Can you send me another one?
We VERY rarely encounter broken or defective Beard Heads(less than 0.1%). But, if you are one of the incredibly rare cases where you received a defective Beard Head, we’d be happy to send you a replacement. To report a broken/defective product, please visit our contact page. In the subject field, type "DEFECTIVE" and enter your order number in the comments field and explain the problem. You will receive a follow-up email with instructions on what to do next.

1) Is the Beard Head itchy?
Nope! Our Beard Head is hand-knit with soft acrylic yarn or a acrylic/wool blend that is super comfy and not itchy at all!
2) Is it warm?
Heck yea it’s warm! Whether you’re skiing down the snowy Swiss Alps, or you’re trekking through the frozen tundra, our Beard Heads have got you covered!
3) How big is it? Will it fit my GIANT head?
Our Beard Heads have a fairly loose knit, so they’re pretty stretchy and fits nearly any sized head. Since it can stretch quite a bit, comparing it to a regular hat size isn’t very useful. That said, we have had a person who wears an XXL size hat (size 8), which is 25in/65cm, wear our Beard Heads comfortably.
If your head is larger than a size 8, then you may find the Beard Head a little snug. The good news is if you ever order something from us and it doesn’t fit, you can send it back for a full refund!
4) Will the normal Beard Heads fit small kids?
It depends on how big your kid’s head is, but probably not very well. If you order a Beard Head and it ends up not fitting correctly, you can always return it for a full refund!
You may want to check out some of our customer shots of kids wearing Beard Heads to give you an idea of how a certain style may fit. You can also get a sense of how something will fit by reading our reviews. We also have a Kids Collection for our younger customers! Our Kids Collection is typically best for kids ages 1 to 4 years old.
5) Is the beard detachable? Can I wear the beanie by itself?
For the majority of our Beard Head styles, the beard is detachable! It is attached to the beanie with two Velcro strips or two buttons (depending on the style), so you can adjust the placement of the beard at any time, or remove it completely and just wear the beanie! The product description and photos will clearly note if the beard is detachable and show how it is attached.
6) Is the Tailgate Beard Head an officially licensed product with a team logo?
No, our Tailgate Beard Heads feature popular team color combinations, but do not have any official logos or markings of professional sports teams. We’d love to have official team logos, but it’s freakin’ expensive to get licensing, and in many cases, impossible due to brand exclusivity! But hey, if you’re wearing one of these while watching a game, I don’t think anyone’s going to be confused about which team you’re rooting for. They’re just going to be in awe, staring at your awesome multi-colored beard.

Care
1) How should I wash my Beard Head?
We recommend washing your Beard Head by hand with cold water, then letting it air-dry. This is the gentlest way to clean pretty much anything. If you want to use a cleaning solution, we recommend Eucalan’s gentle wash solution (offered for just $0.50 on our Website). You can also user other common cleaning solutions like Woolite or normal laundry detergent. We like Eucalan the most because it is made specifically for knit garments and doesn’t require rinsing!
2) How often should I wash my Beard Head?
That’s entirely up to you. We usually give it the “smell test.” If it’s stinky, we wash it.
3) Will my Beard Head shrink?
If you hand-wash your Beard Head as described above, then it won’t shrink. If you wash it in hot water, then it may shrink. After wearing a Beard Head for extended periods of time, some of our customers actually like to shrink their Beard Heads a tiny bit to make it fit a bit more snugly.
4) Some of the Barbarian beard braids unraveled. What do I do?
It’s possible that the braids of our Barbarian beards can come undone after a lot of wear. Fortunately, it’s quite easy to just re-braid them. Check out a YouTube video on how to braid hair, and you’ll have it as good as new in minutes! You can even try different braid styles!
